This guide will take you through the steps of re-configuring your email address in Outlook after moving to Biohost.
Re-configuring your email manually
Step 1
Open Microsoft Outlook and click File on the menu.
Step 2
Under Account Information, click on the drop-down menu labeled as Account Settings. Now choose the first option also named Account Settings
Step 3
Highlight the email account you want to re-configure (take note of the type of email account it is) and click on Repair…
Step 4
Click on the Advanced options link, check the Let me repair my account manually box and click on Repair
Step 4
Enter the User Information, Server Information and Logon Information (See below). Settings will differ between IMAP and POP email accounts.

Step 6
Proceed to test your new settings by clicking on the Next button.
Step 7
If the settings have been entered correctly a message will pop up saying Account successfully repaired. You can now click on Done. If there is any errors, please click Back and check if you entered the settings correctly. If the problems persists please contact our support line on 087 135 3670 for assistance.
Step 8
If you have more than one email that needs to be re-configured. Simply repeat the process.
Please note: These settings will only work if your DNS (records and nameservers) are pointing correctly and have propagated.
